Ragged Robins task in Marrick, Swaledale - 28 August 2014

A rather narrow and "decrepit" squeeze stile on this popular section of the coast to coast walk came up on the (Yorkshire Dales National Parks Authority) access ranger’s list for makeovers after he rescued a rather nice posh gate from another job, and decided to put it to a better use by incorporating it in a rebuild and smartening up the access to the meadow land.

Halfway through the stripping out of the old stile, we were joined by another party from the other group who had finished their task, so we finished up a bit mob handed towards the end - sometime this can be a hindrance rather than a help?
